2021 Getfund foreign scholarship Application portal has been opened officially for Ghanaians to study abroad.
The Ghana Education Trust Fund
(GETFund) was established by an Act of Parliament in 2000 (Act 581) with the object of providing finance to supplement the provision of education at all levels by the Government.
The Fund began operations in the
the second half of 2001.
2021 Getfund Foreign Scholarship Application Portal has been opened to enable suitably qualified Ghanaians to study various courses in selected countries abroad
2021 Getfund Foreign Scholarship is available for first-degree graduates who want to pursue a masters degree in Science,Humanities and Undergraduate Programs for
Medical Sciences Only
Deadline: The Application window will be closed on Friday 16th July 2021.
2021 GetFund Foreign Scholarship Requirements
All interested applicants should provide the following details;
Application letter
Proof of Nationality
Copy of Admission letter to the foreign school you intend to attend.
Fee Schedule from the school
A copy of your CV of a 1st-degree certificate from the university you attended
A copy of the previous examination transcript from the university you attended which should be duly endorsed by the appropriate authority as a true copy.
copy of the NSS certificate you were issued after completing the service.
Copy of Admission Letter from the foreign school you intend to attend
Copy of school fees
How To Apply for 2021/2022 Foreign Scholarship Application
1.All interested Ghanaians should visit the GETFund website www.getfund.gov.gh to fill an online application form
The requirements for the getfund scholarship is as follows:
- Applicants are required to select the link to the entry form by selecting the Country of the institution of the applicant.
- complete the online form for preliminary vetting and shortlisting.
- Successful applicants will be contacted for preliminary vetting.
- All Shortlisted Applicants will be required to submit scanned copies of appropriate documents for verification.
- Successful applicants will be notified to attend interviews.
