GTEC Donates Equipment To
Colleges of Education journal
The Ghana Tertiary Education (GTEC) through its Director-General, Prof. Mohammed Salifu has presented pieces of equipment to the Colleges of Education Weekly Journal to facilitate its work.
The items included two laptops, two tablets, one scanner, and a printer.
In a statement sent to the Editor of the Colleges of Education Weekly Journal, Mr. Jerry Sarfo, Coordinator for the Colleges of Education urged Management of the news journal to make good use of the items to complement their work.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Colleges of Education Weekly Journal, Mr. Larry Agbador, Editor of the news journal thanked Prof. Mohammed Salifu and officials at GTEC for the kind gesture.
Mr. Agbador added that “the donation of the items came in at the right time as it will go a long way to aid their work. We hope that other institutions and individuals will do the same as we continue to expand the scope of our work. On behalf of the Journal’s Advisory Board, Management, and Editorial Board, I wish to extend our profound gratitude to the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission for their magnanimity”.
Ghana Tertiary Commission was first established under the Education Regulatory Bodies Act 2020 (Act 1023) to regulate the activities of all regulatory bodies under the Ministry of Education. In particular, the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission has been carved out of the National Council for Tertiary Education (NCTE) and the National AAccreditationBoard (NAB).
