Just In: UG Postpones Upcoming End Of Semester Examination Amid UTAG Strike Action


In a press release dated 6th August 2021, the Business Executive Committee under the University Of Ghana has finally postponed the upcoming 2020/2021 End of Semester Examination for Level 100 and level 400 students of the University due to the ongoing University Teachers Association strike actions.

The resumption of the Level 200 and Level 300 batches for the Second Semester, 2020/20 has also been adjourned.

All students should know that academic activities will resume as soon the government has intervened.

Cause of UTAG Strike Action


It will be recalled that the National Executive Committee of the University Teachers Association(UTAG) on 30th July 2021 has directed all universities to withdraw teaching and related activities namely teaching, examination, marking of the examination scripts, invigilation, and processing of examination results from 2nd August 2021 until further notice.
