Colleges Of Education To Cut Down Admission For 2021/2022 Academic Year

The Ghana Tertiary Education Commission, GTEC, has instructed Principals of the Various Colleges of Education to limit the number of new entrants for the 2021/2022 Academic Year.
According to GTEC, all Principals of Colleges are to ensure that fresh admissions do not exceed numbers that were admitted in the 2019/2020 Academic Year.
Further Checks conducted by Skynewsgh.com have revealed that all Colleges of Education are facing accommodation challenges since the introduction of the B.Ed programs.

It will be recalled that in October 2018, Government has rolled out new B.Ed programs to replace Diploma In Basic Education Programs.
The change in the curriculum has also brought a change in the duration of the number of years students will complete college of Education.
