Government Urged To Ban Teacher Trainee And NABCO Allowances
Mr. Dennis Owusu Sarkodie, the lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), has urged the Government of Ghana to cancel the payment of Allowances to Teacher Trainees and Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) Personnels.
The lecturer said this during an interview on Oyerepa Breakfast show, on Tuesday.
According to him, the government can use those monies to create jobs for citizens.
“Money that is used to pay all the students can be channeled into factories and works that can give them permanent work instead of the one-year payment,” He added.
