GES To Recruit 16,850 Newly Trained Teachers From Colleges Of Education
The Ministry Of Finance in a press release dated 19th November 2021, and intercepted by SkyNewsGh.com has granted financial clearance for 16,850 Newly Trained Teachers from Colleges Of Education to be recruited.
The Ministry Of Finance has instructed the Director General Of Ghana Education Service to ensure that Trained Teachers have their documents processed in time and placed on the mechanized payroll
early enough to enable the Controller and Accountant-General’s Department to effect payment of their salaries.
The effective date of this appointment should not be earlier than 1st December 2021.

New: Salary Of Government Teachers In Ghana 2021/2022
The controller and Accountant-General are also requested to effect the payment of salaries of the Newly Trained Teachers and make appropriate deductions of Social Security and Income Tax to SSNIT and the Domestic Tax Division of Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) respectively.
The effective date of this appointment should not be earlier than 1st December 2021.
All Newly Trained Teachers must know that the financial clearance expires at the end of 31* December 2022.
