Government To Construct Hostel Facilities In Colleges Of Education
The Director Of Ghana Tertiary Education Commission, Prof.Salifu Mohammed has disclosed that plans are far advanced to start the construction of hostel facilities in all government-accredited Colleges Of Education.
Government To Construct 400-bed hostel block In Public Colleges of Education
Prof. Salifu Mohammed revealed this when the Leadership of the Teacher Trainees Association Of Ghana (TTAG) met him on 14th April 2022 to discuss issues of concern to teacher trainees fraternity.
According to Him, advanced steps had been taken by stakeholders to start the construction of hostel facilities on the various campuses of the Colleges of Education.
Provision Of Buses For Colleges Of Education To Facilitate STS Program
The Director Of Ghana Tertiary Education Commission has declared that steps were far advanced in making provisions for buses for Colleges to help in facilitating the STS program.
“The recent publication by the Ministry of Finance on the ban on importation of vehicles has necessitated for GTEC to make some necessary alterations and adjustments in the procurement processes” Prof. Salifu added
