The management of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) wishes to inform the general public especially suitably qualified applicants that recruitment forms for the 2022/2023 academic year have been released today.

Ghana Armed Forces say that all applicants must note that GAF did not contract any individual to help applicants with the Enlistment processes. Anyone caught acting as an agent or middleman will face criminal charges, and those who engage with them do so at their own risk.

Ghana Armed Forces Recruitment 2022/2023 Requirements For Candidates

Below is the comprehensive list of all requirements interested applicants must meet before applying for GAF recruitment.

The applicant must;

•Be a Ghanaian citizen by birth.
•Be of good character.
•Not be less than 18 years and not more than 26 years by 06 January 2023 for Regular Commission and not more than the respective Short Service Commission applicants.
•Be medically fit by Ghana Armed Forces standards.
•Be not bonded
•Be not married (for Regular Officer Candidates only).
•Be of a minimum height of 1.68m (5’6″) for males and 160m (5′ 4″) for females.

For Military Police Only; the minimum height for male applicants should be 1.75m (5’9’’) and 1.70m (5’7’’) for females.

Must-Have the Following;

Six Credit passes in BECE including mathematics, and English Language.
Must have six credit passes in WASSCE including Core English Core mathematics and Science OR Six Credit passes in SSSCE (not less than D) including Core mathematics and Core English.

GCE O & A LEVEL-five credits (not less than 6) including English and Mathematics at GCE O Level and not less than D in three subjects and General Paper at GCE A level.

•Kindly input your card serial number, and PIN Code and select your preferred arm of service, type of commission, and click ‘Submit’.

•Enter your details from pages 1 to 3
•Click on the preview button to see the summary page of all the data provided.
•Click on the submit button and expect an instant email and text message which includes your unique system-generated report identification number.
•Print and keep a copy of the generated report, as you will be required to present it if you are shortlisted.
