According to the interview, Mr. Christian N. Boakye said, he started in 2018 as a campus business in his hostel (“home-stel”) where a lot of his close friends and distant friends were loyal customers.
Ongoing, he narrated that he faced a lot of challenges in the course of making heights with the business. Even though he was excellent academically, the business conflicts with his studies but managing time and placing priorities well helped him.
He recalled that a lot of challenges came his way especially raising funds to support his long-time dream. In the course of raising funds, he’s used his hostel fees and any other money that he has or comes his way to support the business.
Furthermore, he added that he took money (difficult days) during his National Service to secure a place for the business on campus.
Currently, the CEO of Chickenman and Pizzaman has twenty-one (21) solid locations and four (4) food tracks in 2 years and 6 months.
His business deals in Jollof rice and fried rice addition.
When the host, Berla Mundi asked what is next, he answered hurriedly that he will add more than ten (10) locations before the year ends.
Mr. Boakye also added:
“The plan is to introduce a full bucket chicken.”
He described his success secret as “being consistent” and paying attention to his friend because it counts a lot.
