St.Francis College Of Education Trainees To Boycott End Of Semester examination
St Francis College of Education (FRANCO) located in Hohoe disclosed their heartfelt desires on the ongoing end-of-semester examination.
The End-of-Semester has been scheduled to take effect today, 5th December 2022 but Teacher Trainees of St. Francis College of Education are sets to boycott the examination due to the unavailability of their Lecturers.

Their boycott was meant to disclose that for the past three (3) weeks they had no Lecturers to guide their academic works and shape them for the teaching path they chose.
For weeks now, teaching staff across all the 46 accredited colleges of Education in Ghana declared industrial strike action based on the government’s failure to address the issues affecting CETAG in general. The government failed to deliver on agreed conditions of service.
The union had raised concerns about the adjusted ex-pump rate of GH¢10.99 being implemented to affect Vehicle Maintenance and Off-Campus Allowances
On Citi News today, 5th December 2022, some students told the media, “In fact, other universities, Winneba UDS, have suspended their examination because of what is happening, and it’s only UCC that is forcing us to write exams, and we think this is not fair, we are not waiting for this exam until our lecturers are back in the classroom to complete our syllabus.”
