With the unwavering commitment to true service in the good interest of Teacher Trainees, the National Executive Council would like to provide you with important updates regarding the payment of allowance and the level 400 teaching practicum fee. Please pay close attention to the following information allowance.
UCC scholarship for distance students 2023/2024
We are pleased to inform you that plans are well underway for the disbursement of the allowance. However, it has come to our attention through PRINCOF and SLTF that some students have not yet submitted their allowance details. We kindly remind those affected to promptly submit their accurate details through the SRCs to ensure the processing of the allowance nice. Moreover, we would like to address two specific situations concerning the allowance:
- Students who have not received their allowance since their admission to college
- Students who have previously received their allowance but are no longer receiving it.
If you fall under any of the above categories, kindly approach your respective SRC Presidents. They will assist you in submitting the necessary information required for the processing of the allowance. Submitting your accurate details through them will facilitate the processing and disbursement.
LEVEL 400 TEACHING PRACTICUM FEE
We would like to bring to your attention that a petition has been submitted to PRINCOF regarding the reconsideration of the amount allocated for the Teaching Practicum specifically for level 400 students. However, we kindly request all level 400 Trainees to be patient as we await feedback regarding this matter.
We understand that these updates are important to all of you, and we would keep you informed of any further developments
