The National Conference Of Principals of Colleges Of Education has announced the 2nd-semester reopening date for first-year Bachelor Of Education(B.Ed) students in all government-accredited Colleges Of Education.

According to PRINCOF, Level 100 B. Ed Students Teachers will report on 29th May 2022 to begin the second semester of academic activities for the 2021/2022 academic year.

Level 100 B. Ed Students will spend a total of 14 weeks in school for the 2nd semester i.e from May 29th to September 2nd, 2022.

A. ACADEMIC CALENDAR

The Calendar for the First Semester will cover 14-Weeks for ALL LEVELS; spread from Jan 8, 2022, to Jun 10, 2022.
The Calendar for the Second Semester will cover 14-Weeks for ALL LEVELS; spread from May 2,9, 2022 to Dec 23, 2022
First Semester Reporting Schedule
a. Levels 100 and 300 students will report on January 8, 2022.

b. Levels 200 students will report on Feb 20, 2022.

Second Semester Reporting Schedule
a. Level 100 students will report on May 29, 2022

b. Level 200 students will report on Jul 24, 2022

c. Level 300 students will report on Sep 4, 2022

d. Level 400 students will report on Jun 12, 2022

For Increased Contact Hours, PRINCOF agrees to:
a. Double the Contact Hours for teaching and learning during the fourteen (14) Weeks with the view of covering the entire syllabus.

b. Operate flexible Class Sessions for mornings, and evenings according to the need.

B. ADMISSIONS ROADMAP AND TIMELINES PROJECTIONS
To be determined by PRINCOF in consultation with GTEC and MoE after the approval of this Academic Calendar.
