Declare Your Stand On Payment Of Teacher Trainee’s Allowances-Teacher Trainees To Government
Teacher Trainees across the 46 Public Colleges Of Education are calling on the NPP Government spearheaded by President Nana Akufo Addo to declare the stand of the party on the payment of the trainee’s allowance.
This decision by trainees follows the failure of the government to pay the trainee’s allowances for the past six months, meanwhile, the Teacher Trainees Association Of Ghana(TTAG) has given three weeks ultimatum to the government to pay all allowances owed trainees which elapsed on Tuesday, 26th, October 2021 but the has allowance has not being paid.

According to some trainees, the government is just given them promises upon promises which never materialized.
“We are tired of the lies of this government, although we are suffering it is better we know the stand of the government on the payment of the allowance than deceiving us all the time”.
Update From TTAG
The leadership of the Teacher Trainees Association Of Ghana(TTAG) says it will in due time inform trainees of the next line of action since the three weeks ultimatum has expired a few days ago.
TTAG is also urging all teacher trainees to remain calm.
