The Registrar of the National Teaching Council, Dr. Christian Addai-Poku has advised teacher trainees in the various government-accredited colleges of education not to depend solely on the Ghana Education Service for employment.

Dr.Christian Addai said this when he attended a handover ceremony organized by the leadership of the Teacher Trainees Association Of Ghana (TTAG) at Accra College of Education.
According to him, teacher trainees should venture into diverse skills even as they are trained as teachers.
Dr.Christian made this statement following the economic hardship that the country is currently experiencing.
