The demand for secondary education has increased as a result of high completion rates at the Junior high School level. In response to this, several new public schools have been provided, whilst facilities in existing schools have been upgraded.
Trends in school placement from the Computer Schools Selection and Placement System (CSSPS)
indicate some disparity in the selection of schools. Students overwhelmingly choose the popular but few traditionally high-performing schools thereby leading to oversubscription of these schools.
Many schools that have significantly improved in recent years remain unknown and undersubscribed.
We believe that this anomaly is partly due to the lack of information available to students and parents.

DESCRIPTION
The Dzodze Penyi Senior High is a co-educational institution established 25th October, 1963 as a Boys Training College. In August 1965, citizens owning plots of land around the School met and signed over their lands to expand the school and afford it a permanents site. In 1971, as per the Government policy then, Dzodze Training College was phased out and turned into a Secondary School. The school can boast of a well-equipped Science Resource Centre, an ultra-modern IT Centre and a recently refurbished well-stocked spacious library.

VISION
The major preoccupation of the founders of the school and the other stakeholders is to shape the minds of the youth and to lay a strong foundation for skills development.

MISSION
Dzodze-Penyi Senior High School was set up by the state to provide relevant secondary education for candidates placed in the school through effective supervision and good management of resources.
