The demand for secondary education has increased as a result of high completion rates at the Junior high School level. In response to this, several new public schools have been provided, whilst facilities in existing schools have been upgraded.
Trends in school placement from the Computer Schools Selection and Placement System (CSSPS)
indicate some disparity in the selection of schools. Students overwhelmingly choose the popular but few traditionally high-performing schools thereby leading to oversubscription of these schools.
Many schools that have significantly improved in recent years remain unknown and undersubscribed.
We believe that this anomaly is partly due to the lack of information available to students and parents.

Fetterman Senior High School is a government institution established in February 2013, by the United National High Commission for refugees (UNHCR) to the Gomoa Fetteh Traditional Council for releasing a piece of land for the settlement of refugees from
Liberia, during the civil war. The school is located at Gomoa Fetteh, a fishing community in Gomoa East
District in the Central Region Ghana.
VISION
Fetterman SHS aspires to be a center for excellent education for a comprehensive personality
development, laying a sound foundation for students in academic, moral, and social development.
MISSION
Creating an enabling environment coupled with motivated and dedicated staff, students will be able to achieve their ambition and contribute their quota
