The management of the National Union Of Ghana Students-NUGS has engaged the Minister Of Education, Dr.Yaw Osei Adutwum on issues concerning postings for unposted trained teachers (Backlogs).

The group of unposted trained teachers isteachers who have completed colleges of Education in 2018 and 2019 but due to one or two reasons, were not able to be recruited by Ghana Education Education.

According to NUGS, the Minister Of Education has assured them that the Finance Minister will soon issue financial clearance for unposted trained teachers to be posted as soon as possible.

Requirements for GES Posting For Newly Trained Teachers

Below is the list of requirements all newly trained teachers need to teach at the country’s basic schools

•Must Completed and passed the Public Colleges of Education examinations

•Must passed the Teacher Licensure Examination

•Must completed the mandatory National Service

• Kindly follow the steps below to access your GES Posting March 2022

•visit the official GES Promotions Portal at https://gespromotions.gov.gh/ to check your posting.

• Scroll and Click on Postings.

•provide the necessary details required and click on Submit

•Pay amount of 10GHC via MTN Mobile Money.

• Print out your posting letter.

• Make copies and submit to the Regional Director of Education in the region of your posting before reporting to school.
