Below is the full list of requirements that all prospective candidates must have before joining the Ghana Police Service
Your character must fit the standard of the service. It means, no criminal charges or records should be leveled against you. Also, have a good character. Again, your age must tally the requirements of all categories.
What makes you eligible to join Ghana Police Service?
a. Automatically, you as a Ghanaian by birth is the first guarantee to join the Police Service.
b. Your age limit: should be18 years + but it shouldn’t exceed 25 years.
c. A height of 5.6ft/173cm and 5.4ft/165cm is needed for males and females respectively.
Things needed for police recruitment/documents for the application?
i. Your WAEC results, NECO results, GCE results & NABTEB results are needed.
Your results have to be good. You must pass all the required subjects needed by the Ghana Police Service before the online portal can accept your details as valid and qualified to apply.
ii. A biometric Birth Cert./a declaration from the Law Court confirming your age.
iii. Get a nice passport photograph of yourself with a perfect background.
iv. Your valid National ID card is needed. *NHIS card is not a valid ID card for Ghana Police Service.
