About Students Loan Trust Fund-SLTF

The Students Loan Trust Fund is a government financial institution established under the Trustee Incorporation Act 1962, Act 106 to provide financial resources for tertiary students and also to facilitate the national ideprogramshrined in Articles 25 and 38 of Ghana’s 1992 Republic Constitution.

•One must be a Ghanaian by birth

• must have gained admission to study at any approved tertiary institutions in Ghana.

•Must be pursuing a diploma or 1st degree in any accredited tertiary institutions.

•must have a Student ID card or admission letter
•Must have an E-zwich Card

How To Apply For Students Loan in Ghana 2022/2023

Here are the steps to apply for a students loan in Ghana

• Log on to the Students Loan Trust Fund official website www.sltf.gov.gh

• Follow the link on the website and apply for a loan

•Read the general instructions in filling out forms online
•(Upload a passport picture )

•Print out and complete the Students Loan form

Agreement forms (Complete all forms in BLACK INK and BLOCK LETTERS only)

• Have your fingerprints (INDEX AND THUMB)

THUMBPRINT took at any SSNIT branch office. You will be assisted by an SSNIT official.

•Provide photocopies of the following documents:

• Student ID card and Admission letter.

i-SSNIT ID number or SSNIT reference number.

• e-zwich card (front and back)

•Submit 2 original copies of the duly completed forms and copies of the documents to your respective SLTF Campus Office

When To Apply for the loan

Online applications are opened at the beginning of each academic year.
