Background
Currently, the payment of teacher trainees allowance has been in arrears for the past seven months.
All promises from the government concerning the payment of the allowance never materialized.

Postponement Of Reopening Date For Colleges Of Education
Initially, Level 200 and Level 300 B.Ed students were expected to resume on 6th November 2021 but were later postponed to early January 2022 until further notice. However, the reopening date for level 100 B. Ed students remain 8th January 2022.
