The demand for secondary education has increased as a result of high completion rates at the Junior high School level. In response to this, several new public schools have been provided, whilst facilities in existing schools have been upgraded.
Trends in school placement from the Computer Schools Selection and Placement System (CSSPS)
indicate some disparity in the selection of schools. Students overwhelmingly choose the popular but few traditionally high-performing schools thereby leading to oversubscription of these schools.
Many schools that have significantly improved in recent years remain unknown and undersubscribed.
We believe that this anomaly is partly due to the lack of information available to students and parents.

DESCRIPTION
Juaso Senior High Technical is located off the
Kumasi-Accra Highway at Juaso in the Asante Akim
South District. The School started as a Government
Middle School in December 1929. With 1980
Educational Reforms, the school became Juaso
Junior Secondary School. Later in 1985, the
the school was upgraded to the status of a Secondary
Technical School.
VISION
To be a citadel of quality education for the students in
order to achieve academic excellence, moral training
and equip them with technical skills to fit into the
world of work.
MISSION
To ensure that students comply with school rules and
regulations and to create a congenial environment
that will enhance effective teaching and learning for
the realization of the school’s vision.
