The demand for secondary education has increased as a result of high completion rates at the Junior high School level. In response to this, several new public schools have been provided, whilst facilities in existing schools have been upgraded.
Trends in school placement from the Computer Schools Selection and Placement System (CSSPS)
indicate some disparity in the selection of schools. Students overwhelmingly choose the popular but few traditionally high-performing schools thereby leading to oversubscription of these schools.
Many schools that have significantly improved in recent years remain unknown and undersubscribed.
We believe that this anomaly is partly due to the lack of information available to students and parents.

DESCRIPTION
Klikor Senior High Technical School was established in 1991 by the Joint Consultative Committee of Klikor Citizens Union in Accra, Asamankese, Ashaiman, and Tema as a Private Secondary School with registration number V/RPCSS/13/92. It was absorbed into the Public System on the 8th of October 1997. The school is situated along the main Aflao – Accra trunk road. It is about 2 kilometers from Agbozume and about 1 kilometer from Klikor Junction. The entire layout of
the school is on the right-hand side of the trunk road from Accra to Aflao and covers a land area of about 73.6 acres.
VISION
Charged with the responsibility to provide education for children who qualify for secondary education that will enable them to acquire skills, with emphasis on Science, Technology, and Creativity. This will help them have increased access to job opportunities and prepare them, to meet national and socio-economic changes.
MISSION
To provide relevant education to all our students to enable them to develop their mental, moral, cultural, and physical potentials to excel in their chosen careers to live meaningful lives and contribute towards national development.
