Latest NTC Update On 2022 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination
NTC has sent a short notice to Candidates writing the 2022 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination.
The management of the National Teaching Council has announced that the registration for the 2022 GTLE 2 is for candidates who are re-sitting and those who completed their tertiary education programs in 2021 or before.

According to the NTC, due to the GTLE reforms which are to be implemented next year, the Council is giving three chances to candidates who are characterized with the pen and paper GTLE (Essential Professional Skills, Literacy and Numeracy) to redeem themselves.
National Teaching Council in a Facebook blog post further communicated that this registration for 2022 GTLE 2 is one of the three opportunities, the two others will be conducted next year. After the three chances, there will be no examination for the traditional subjects in 2024 and beyond.
” Any candidate of the pen and paper exam (Traditional ) Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination who would like to write the exam again will have to start afresh with the GTLE dispensation in 2024 and beyond.” National Teaching Council explained
