New Update On Payment Of Teacher Trainees Allowance

A group identified as Coalition of Concerned Teacher Trainees Association Of Ghana(CCTT) has expressed its displeasure over the delay in the payment of trainee’s allowances by the government.
According to the group, since the three weeks ultimatum that TTAG gave the government to pay the trainees allowance has elapsed with no update from Government and TTAG, the group will organize Press Conference in few days ahead.

UPCOMING PRESS CONFERENCE OVER DELAY IN THE
PAYMENT OF OUTSTANDING SIX MONTHS ARREARS
OF THE TEACHER TRAINEES ALLOWANCE

We bring you our warmest greetings from the secretariat of the Coalition of Concern Teacher Trainees Association

of Ghana (CCTT). The leadership of the aforementioned Association is through this missive expressing its displeasure
Over the undue delay in the payment of the restored Teacher Trainees allowance.

we are highly saddened and disappointed in the government
of the Republic of Ghana for its failure to pay Teacher Trainees Allowances that have been outstanding for six months.

We also, therefore, express our displeasure towards our mother Teacher Training Association of Ghana (TTAG) due to the failure of its significant relief role and also been silent after giving the Government three weeks’ ultimatum to pay trainees allowance.

Henceforth, the Coalition of Concern Teacher Trainees Association (CCTT) release this statement to create the
awareness of the General Public and all Media Houses on its Press Conference to be held in few days ahead.

We would like to use this medium to call on all media houses to be present in the upcoming Press Conference to
be held which will be communicated to them soon.
