The demand for secondary education has increased as a result of high completion rates at the Junior high School level. In response to this, several new public schools have been provided, whilst facilities in existing schools have been upgraded.
Trends in school placement from the Computer Schools Selection and Placement System (CSSPS)
indicate some disparity in the selection of schools. Students overwhelmingly choose the popular but few traditionally high-performing schools thereby leading to oversubscription of these schools.
Many schools that have significantly improved in recent years remain unknown and under subscribed.
We believe that this anomaly is partly due to the lack of information available to students and parents.

DESCRIPTION
Nkrankwanta Community Senior High Technical School is the only Senior High Technical School in Dormaa West District. It was established on 15th February 1993. It was initially a day school until the 2015/2016 academic year that it had its boarding status.
VISION
To be the preferred institution with an enabling environment to nurture the acquisition and development of talents and skills.
MISSION
To provide quality teaching and learning to young intellectuals with emphasis on Agricultural Science, Technical and Humanistic training by developing the cognitive and psychomotor skills of our students through improved infrastructural facilities.
