The demand for secondary education has increased as a result of high completion rates at the Junior high School level. In response to this, several new public schools have been provided, whilst facilities in existing schools have been upgraded.

DESCRIPTION

Northern School of Business, as it is currently known was established as a private school in 1972 by Mr. A. S. O. Arthur. The school was then housed in a makeshift structure without electricity, pipe-borne water, and other basic facilities that make for a standard institution. The school was absorbed into the Public system in 1976. It was converted into a Senior Secondary School in 1991.

To be the school of choice of all in the Region, churning out students of high academic standards.

The mission of the school is to recruit and maintain qualified, competent and dedicated staff who will give their best intuition I ensure quality education
delivery towards achieving academic excellence, discipline, good morals, excellence in sports,s as well as good sanitation.
