The management of the National Service Scheme has revealed that national service registration for 2022/2023 will be officially opened in September 2022 to enable all eligible Ghanaian students to serve their country.

Ahead of the 2022/2023 National Service Registration, the management of the National service scheme has outlined the following procedures for all prospective nss personnel to register.
Nss 2022/2023 Registration Procedures Payment Method
The Nss accepts two forms of payments I.e Banks and Mtn Mobile Money
Bank Payment
Prospective nss personnels are required to pay an amount of GH¢40.00 at all branches of the Agricultural Development Bank Limited.
Mtn Mobile Money Payment
All prospective nss personnel can also buy their pincodes using mtn mobile money at a cost of GH¢41.00
Steps To Buy Nss Pincodes using MTN Mobile Money
Follow the steps below to buy your nss pincodes using mobile money
•Dial *170#
•Select Option 2 “Pay Bill”
Kindly select General Payments (Option 6)
•Enter Payment code as – NSS PINCODE(type NSS, put a space, then type your PINCODE). The menu will return to your name for confirmation.
Enter deposit amount (GH¢41.00).
Enter NSS reference
Enter PIN to confirm payment
You will then receive an SMS message to confirm the transaction, then you can proceed to NSS Registration
How To Check National Service Scheme(NSS) Pin Code Online
All prospective national service personnel should follow the steps below to check their nss Pincodes online
•kindly Visit the National Service Scheme official Portal URL https://portal.nss.gov.gh.
•Click on Check & Pay for PINCODE
•provide your Index Number or School ID Number.
•Finally click on Search.
• PINCODE and personal information would now be displayed for your confirmation.
How To Complete National Service Scheme Registration Form 2022/2023
All prospective nss personnel should complete the online registration after obtaining their pin code

•Voters Card
SSNIT Card or Driver’s License
•Scanned passport photograph

Visit the official NSS Registration Portal via https://portal.nss.gov.gh/, and enter your username (School Index number or ID number), and your password (payment pincode) to login and access NSS application form.
