In a press release dated 6th October, 2022,The Management of National Service Scheme (NSS) wishes to inform the general public that it has deployed 81,081 graduates from accredited tertiary institutions across the country who enrolled for national service to various user agencies across the country.

According to NSS, all prospective service personnel should log in to nss official website by visiting the link below:
http://www.portal.nss.gov.gh to confirm the details of their placements before visiting their respective user agencies to endorse their letters of appointment.

However, some prospective service personnel has been placed on hold for further verification due to discrepancies detected in their online registration details. Notifications have already been sent to the affected person and they are hereby directed to visit any regional office of the scheme with a copy of the following: student ID , enrolment forms, any national ID, and a soft copy of their passport picture saved with their NSS number as the file name to clear them for posting.
It is important to note that posting registration should be completed by Friday, 5th November 2022.
National Service Personnel will begin their national service on Monday, October 11, 2022, even as they undergo the validation exercise.
The management of the National Service Scheme is urging all prospective nss personnel to follow the steps outlined below to register for their service.
Nss 2022/2023 Registration Procedures Payment Method
The Nss accepts two forms of payments I.e Banks and Mtn Mobile Money
Bank Payment
Prospective nss personnel is required to pay an amount of GH¢40.00 at all branches of the Agricultural Development Bank Limited.
Mtn Mobile Money Payment
All prospective nss personnel can also buy their incomes using mtn mobile money at a cost of GH¢41.00

Follow the steps below to buy your nss pincodes using mobile money
•Dial *170#
•Select Option 2 “Pay Bill”
Kindly select General Payments (Option 6)
•Enter Payment code as – NSS PINCODE(type NSS, put a space, then type your PINCODE). The menu will return to your name for confirmation.
Enter deposit amount (GH¢41.00).
Enter NSS reference
Enter PIN to confirm payment
You will then receive an SMS message to confirm the transaction, then you can proceed to NSS Registration
