The demand for secondary education has increased as a result of high completion rates at the Junior high School level. In response to this, several new public schools have been provided, whilst facilities in existing schools have been upgraded.
Trends in school placement from the Computer Schools Selection and Placement System (CSSPS)
indicate some disparity in the selection of schools. Students overwhelmingly choose the popular but few traditionally high-performing schools thereby leading to oversubscription of these schools.
Many schools that have significantly improved in recent years remain unknown and undersubscribed.
We believe that this anomaly is partly due to the lack of information available to students and parents.

DESCRIPTION
Obiri Yeboah Senior High School is located in Assin Fosu in the Assin North District of the Central Region.
The School popularly known as “Great APASS” was founded by the Liev. J.W. De-Graft Johnson.
The school started from very humble beginnings in a cocoa shed at “Apaa Paado” on the morning of 20th FMorrarMFA1953 as a Day Secondary School. The school moved to its present location “Mmora mfa adwen” in 1960.

VISION
To create a school profundity where students participate, excel, demonstrate moral astuteness and are prod of their achievements.

MISSION
To develop young future leaders with active and creative minds, a sense of understanding and compassion for others, and courage to act on their beliefs. We stress the total development of each student; spiritually, morally, intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically.
