The demand for secondary education has increased as a result of high completion rates at the Junior high School level. In response to this, several new public schools have been provided, whilst facilities in existing schools have been upgraded.
Trends in school placement from the Computer Schools Selection and Placement System (CSSPS)
indicate some disparity in the selection of schools. Students overwhelmingly choose the popular but few traditionally high-performing schools thereby leading to oversubscription of these schools.
Many schools that have significantly improved in recent years remain unknown and undersubscribed.
We believe that this anomaly is partly due to the lack of information available to students and parents.

DESCRIPTION
Potsin T. I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School popularly called P-AMASS was established by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in 1972 under the Nusrat Jahan (Service to Humanity) Scheme introduced in Ghana
by the then Worldwide Spiritual Leader, Hazrat Mirza Nasir Ahmad (Khalifatul Masih III) of the Ahmadiyya
Muslim Community. Initially, the school started as a day school in 1974, and in September, 1984, it was
absorbed into the public education system by Ghana Education.
The motto of the school is “Nyamesuro na Nyimdzee ma Kano” which literally means “The fear of God and Knowledge breathes NGS success”.

To become the best school in the Central Region through provision of relevant knowledge and sound moral values.

MISSION
To create a conducive environment for all to unearth the photo of students by offering effective, dedicated, and committed services so as to become
God-fearing and responsible citizens through the provision of relevant knowledge and skills.
