TTAG To Update Teacher Trainees On Reopening Date, Details Here

A Check Conducted by the News Team of Skynewsgh.com has revealed that the leadership of Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana(TTAG) will in due time announce the official reopening date for the 46 Accredited Public Colleges of Education.
Officials of TTAG on 29th September 2021 met the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission and the Ministry of Education to discuss issues relating to delay in the payment of the trainee’s allowances and reopening date for the colleges of education.

The outcome of Meeting Between PRINCOF and Government

It will be recalled that the National Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education met the Minister of Education last month to decide on the reopening date for the colleges.
The government and PRINCOF were not able to reach a consensus on the actual reopening date due to 2021 WASSCE Candidates who have applied for admission.
According to Government, Colleges of Education should postpone the reopening date to 2022 to allow the current WASSCE Candidates to also apply for admission.

Alleged 2021/2022 Academic For Colleges of Education

Skynewsgh.com has taken notice of a document purported to be 2021/2022 academic calendar for colleges of Education.
According to the said Academic Calendar, Level 100 and Level 200 will report to campus for face-to-face lectures from Monday, 11th January 2022 to 20th February 2022.
Level 300 students will also start online studies from Monday, 11th January 2022 to 20th February 2022.

Level 200 will vacate campus and begin online studies on 3rd April 2022 while level 300 will report to campus for face to face lectures from 22nd February 2022 to 3rd, April 2022
