What you need to know about cut-off points for Colleges of Education.
Colleges of Education refers to a specialized tertiary institution that trains and equips students, teachers, with the requisite pedagogical content knowledge and skills able to impart knowledge to the citizens of Ghana.
Ghana currently has 46 public Colleges of Education.
In 2018 October, the cabinet has given the approval for Colleges of Education to be upgraded from diploma awarding institutions to degree-awarding fully-fledged tertiary institutions. This means that the minimum requirements for teaching at the country’s basic schools is Bachelor of Education
Before you can apply for a college of education admission in 2021, you need to know the entry requirements to help you whether you will be admitted or not.
All applicants applying for Colleges of Education admission are must have at least 3 credit passes in the core subject of between A1-C6 and 3 elective passes in required subjects.

With the introduction of the new Bachelor of Education, Colleges of Education has been affiliated to five public universities namely; the University of Ghana, University of Education-winneba, University of Development Studies, University of Cape, and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology
