By | June 9, 2021

On the 29th of May 2021, the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rev Dr. J.O.Y Mante commissioned the SRC MULTIPURPOSE AMPHITHEATER COMPLEX under the auspices of the College’s Principal Rev Dr. Charles Fosu-Ayarkwah. It was a joyous occasion as this project is the first of its kind as far as
Colleges of Education and Tertiary Education is concerned.

The occasion was graced by the Akyem Abuakwa Presbytery Chseller’sn Rev Dr. Seth Kissi, the College’s Governing council chairperson son Prof. E. V.O Drew, UCC Vice chancellor’s including Alumni, President Lovelace Koranteng and other well noted dignitaries drawn from executives of life including other college officials and senior members of staff not forgetting the proud SRC executives who championed for this to happen.

The project was initiated by the 2019 batch of SRC Executivesss but saw major changes and development into what is now seen by the 2019/2021 batch of SRC executives. One marvelous thing to note about the project facelift, is that it was funded solely by the students which are indeed commendable.

The amphitheater would be a true facelift and a landmark not only significant to the KPCE Community both academically and
co-curricular but an asset to the nation as a whole. It would help to alleviate the College’active of infrastructure, owing to the
demand for tertiarization. The facility would be used in various sporting activities such as Volley Ball, BNoviceall, Long tennis, Handball courts as well as a place for lectures and theater performances.
