Ghana National Fire Service Training 2022/2023. The Training Directorate of GNFS is composed of Training Division, Fire Service Training Schools, and college.
The training is composed or organized in different folds.
The training school is aimed at coordinating and advising the personnel in the firefighting departments of Institutions that train and organize volunteer squads at community levels as well as rescue, evacuation,n, and other emergency services.
The Training Directorate of GNFS is composed of Training Division, Fire Service Training Schools, and college.
The Training Division, they have a section that covers all sports and curriculum development. Their Sports section has OIC. The OIC is meant for recreational and competitive sports.
The Fire Service Training Schools has Recruit and career training schools and its functions:
The Training Directorate is to develop and provide guidance in the determination of the required training needs for all categories of Service personnel by performing the following function:
Implement matters relating to training, development, and retention of personnel and the required skills needed in the Service.
Advice on policies relating to training in general for Service personnel.
Ensure the efficient operation of the schools and collage in the Service.
Submission of Quarterly and Annual Reports and yearly plan of Action Document to Management.
Work in close collaboration with appropriate Directorates to strategize and implement the training policy of the Service.
Their Strategic Policy Direction Continual training and development of a competent, safe,e and diverse workforce will be achieved through the following medium :
A. Developing and implementing comprehensive training and developing a policy framework that supports the Service to develop strategic, tactical, and operational responses to meet the full range of roles and incident types.
B. They will train Skill,s development-witpartnerseror stakeholders, develop personnel skills and knowledge in innovativehiperformanceece, multi-agency context.
C. Flexible programs of training(for example E-learning) and development opportunities to support rt community safety agenda by addressing the development needs of all groups of staff as new demands emerge from fire and rescue activities.
D. They will also train on Lifelong learning strategy for all personnel in the Service.
E. Maximizing staff potential the in achievement of the objectives of the Service.
E. For enough knowledge skill-acquisition going, their strategic policy focuses on Addressing future skills and knowledge needed in the achievement of the objectives of the Service.

-Develop and implement guidelines on curriculum development for all courses and lessons, both senior and junior officers.
-Develop and simply train programmerssers, modify existing programmers and curriculums, and creation of course objectives including instructional design and technical writing skills.
-Develop and implemeinstructors’omanitouprovidinging them apersonnelnal with basic information necessary to mean et acceptabstandardsard in service license.
-Develop and implement t firefighting manual with the intent of providing firefighters.
