Government Releases ¢67m For Payment Of Colleges Of Education Feeding Fee
The Minister Of Education, Dr.Yaw Osei Adutwum has disclosed that the Government of Ghana has released an amount of 67 million cedis for the payment of feeding components to Colleges Of Education.
The announcement by the Minister Of Education follows a recent directive from the National Conference Of Principals Of Colleges Of Education directing all teacher trainees to start feeding themselves effective 8th May.

Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum in addressing a press conference held in Accra on Wednesday, April 20 said that he is happy to inform the general public that the government has released ¢67, 942, 652 to Colleges of Education.

“I am very happy to inform you that the the the government has released ¢67, 942, 652 to Colleges of Education. I know you may have read media reports, there were many calls on us to respond to concerns of PRINCOF.
“We want to let the country know that the President of the Republic, the Finance Minister, and all those who have worked hard to ensure various promises made to Colleges of Education are carried through, have delivered on their promise. That is why this amount has been released to Colleges of Education.”
