How to Register for the Wassce Novdec 2022 Registration as a Private Candidate
The Wassce Novdec examination, which stands for West African Senior School Certificate Examination November December, is organized annually by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC). It’s an important stepping stone on the way to higher education and more importantly, employment in Ghana and abroad. If you’re planning to register as a private candidate, you need to follow these steps carefully.
Step 1: Check your eligibility
You must meet certain basic criteria to register for WASSCE. The qualifications are your citizenship, age, and educational level. Here’s what you need to know: To register, you must be at least 17 years old on or before January 1 of the year of examination. You must also be able to read and write English well enough that you can understand exam instructions and respond on your own without assistance from anyone else. If you don’t meet these qualifications, take extra steps before proceeding with registration because you will not be allowed access to exams.
Step 2: Register online
Students will then be allowed to pay their registration fees online. This requires you to use your unique E-Pin and is often considered more secure than paying in cash or at a bank counter.
find Registration, click on 2022 WASSCE NOVDEC and PAY REGISTRATION FEES and follow the instructions provided. Note that you must enter all available units in Section 1 (including WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, GCE/NECO/NABTEB, etc) before proceeding with payment; you will not be able to go back later so make sure all data is accurate.
Step 3: Online Application Form

The online application form has an option to pay online with your credit card. Alternatively, you can choose to pay at designated banks around Ghana within three days after you submit your application form. Be sure that you have enough funds in your account when paying; otherwise, it may be canceled and you’ll lose that fee.
Step 4: Print out your school fee payment receipt and bring it along with you when registering.
You must bring your payment receipt with you when registering because you need it to prove your qualification as a private candidate. You can find your school fee payment receipt by logging into e-Wece portal. From there, click on Account Statement, and under Payment Receipt, you should see details of your fees paid. Print it out and bring it with you when registering. This is proof that you are an eligible private candidate since all candidates must have paid their school fees before they register online
Step 5: Go register for the examination at any accredited institution across the country.
This step involves going to your school’s registrar and filling out registration forms along with paying fees. Many schools offer discounts on registering for exams at their institution and you should take advantage of that if possible. The fees will likely be different depending on which exam board you choose, so make sure you verify that before finalizing payment. And then there is waiting; how long it takes depends on when you registered and how many people are vying for seats at any one time. With all these considerations, there isn’t a concrete answer; just try not to stress out too much while awaiting your results!
