Good News: Minister of Education Finally Instructed GTLE To Withhold Feeding Components of Trainees Allowance

The Minister of Education, Dr.Yao Osei A. has finally instructed the Director-General For Ghana Tertiary Education Commission to withhold feeding components of the trainee’s allowance
an equivalent amount of the feeding component that has been paid, and those that are yet to be paid for the entire period trainees were not in school from the processed ones, pending.
This decision came after the leadership of the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana(TTAG) has engaged the Minister in discussing the way forward on payment of the feeding components.
It is expected that the final engagement with the stakeholders will be done by the end of this month.

Not too long ago the Leadership of the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana has promised teacher trainees to update them on 8th September 2021 about the outcome of a meeting held between the leadership and the Minister of Education on the feeding of the trainee’s allowance.
