GES dismissed 8 students at Chiana SHS for using vulgar utterances on Nana Addo
Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has dismissed the eight (8) Chiana SHS girls who in a viral video last year 14th November 2022 used printable words of the President of Ghana.
BACKGROUND
In the news on 14th November 2022, some girls from a Senior High School uttered vulgar words to the President of Ghana, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Per the complaints and usage of unprintable words in the viral video, it was noted that the SHS second-year girls were bombasting the President for mismanaging the country and making life difficult for the citizens also.

After investigation, GES said the girls are students from Chiana SHS located in the Upper East Region of Ghana.
They (GES) apologized to the President and promised the general public on addressing their misconduct appropriately.
GES, today 12th January 2023 said they have dismissed the girls thence to other students who may involve in using vulgar words /or
involvement in misconducting themselves in making derogatory comments which are undesirable and contrary to the acceptable standards of conduct generally required of any student in our Educational system in Ghana.
Wishing farewell to the dismissed 2nd-year girls, GES said it is expected that they will use this as a major turning point in their life to bring the desired change in behavior and attitude towards life.
Finally, they wished them all the best in their future endeavor.
