The demand for secondary education has increased as a result of high completion rates at the Junior high School level. In response to this, several new public schools have been provided, whilst facilities in existing schools have been upgraded.
Trends in school placement from the Computer Schools Selection and Placement System (CSSPS)
indicate some disparity in the selection of schools. Students overwhelmingly choose the popular but few traditionally high-performing schools thereby leading to oversubscription of these schools.
Many schools that have significantly improved in recent years remain unknown and undersubscribed.
We believe that this anomaly is partly due to the lack of information available to students and parents.

DESCRIPTION

Oti Senior High Technical was established on 28th January 1991 as a Government Educational Reform school. It is a community-based institution located in Dambai in the Krachi East District of the Oti Region.
The school derived its name from River Oti. With assistance from World Vision Ghana and GCB Bank, there is a 24-hour water supply on the campus. In terms of electricity, it is connected to the National Grid. Guidance and Counseling services are available to all.

Oti Senior High Technical seeks to be a center for training students to become physically and morally upright, academically sound and socially fit in a well-organized and disciplined learning environment.

To maintain and improve the current academic standard of students’ achievement through a motivated
