TTAG Updates Trainees On Academic Fees And Other Matters, Full Details Here

The Leadership of the Teacher Trainees Association Of Ghana, TTAG has released new updates on academic year fees, delay in the release of examination results, and National Service Orientation for final year B.Ed student teachers in Colleges of Education.

UPDATE ON DETERMINATION OF ACADEMIC YEAR FEE CHARGE, UNDUE DELAY IN RELEASE OF EXAMINATION RESULT, S AND NATIONAL SERVICE FOR FOURTH YEARS.

Receive warm greetings from the National Secretariat of the TeacherTrainees’ Association of Ghana. The leadership would like to use this circular to inform all teacher trainees across the 46 public colleges of education on some issues in the fraternity and steps taken to resolve them.

  1. TTAG TAKES A ROLE IN PROPOSING FEE CHARGES FOR TRAINEES.

In a spirit of true service to our stakeholders for our constituents, the request of the leadership of TTAG to have input on the fee charges of trainees for the past years has finally been brought to a lamplight. The leadership has had the assurance of PRINCOF and GTEC to be a part in proposing the fees for the next academic year and the subsequent ones.

  1. UNDUE DELAY IN RELEASE OF EXAMINATION RESULTS AND CHALLENGES WITH STUDENT PORTALS

The attention of the National Secretariat has been drawn to the undue delay in the release of semester results by some mentoring universities as well as some hitches regarding the operation of the portal system in some colleges of education. The leadership has advanced discussions with the right stakeholders involved in this and the outcome shall be duly made public.

  1. NATIONAL SERVICE FOR FINAL YEAR STUDENTS

The leadership has taken keen steps in engaging the leadership of PRINCOF and GNSS in preparations towards rolling out final year students on the mandatory National Service Scheme for the year 2023. The leadership Has interest in joining forces with the NSS Secretariat to offer the best orientation service for trainees at their respective colleges. We entreat all Local TTAG Executives to keep in touch with the management as details of final year students are working on for onward processing by the secretariat of the National Service Scheme.

We would want to reiterate our commitment to serving in the good interest of all trainees.
