Increase Teacher Trainees Allowance -TTAG To GTEC, Details Here
The Leadership of the Teacher Trainees Association Of Ghana, TTAG is calling on the Government Of Ghana and the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission to increase the allowances paid to teacher trainees in all government-accredited Colleges Of Education.
The Association For Teacher Trainees revealed this during a meeting held on 14th April to discuss issues of concern to the teacher trainees fraternity.
According to the Association, this has become necessary due to the constant hike in prices of foodstuff.

The leadership adjured GTEC to consider increasing the allowances to yield an increment on the feeding component due to the constant hike in prices of foodstuff. He assured the leadership of engaging all relevant stakeholders for onward consideration.
Allowance Paid To Trainees Monthly
Every Teacher trainee is entitled to get an alert for Gh¢400 a month.
Out of the paid Gh¢400 every month, Gh¢200 goes to the trainee’s E-zwich straightforward, Gh¢196 is sent to the College for feeding, and the remaining Gh¢4 for dues.
