The demand for secondary education has increased as a result of high completion rates at the Junior high School level. In response to this, several new public schools have been provided, whilst facilities in existing schools have been upgraded.
Trends in school placement from the Computer Schools Selection and Placement System (CSSPS)
indicate some disparity in the selection of schools. Students overwhelmingly choose the popular but few traditionally high-performing schools thereby leading to oversubscription of these schools.
Many schools that have significantly improved in recent years remain unknown and undersubscribed.
We believe that this anomaly is partly due to the lack of information available to students and parents.

DESCRIPTION
Breman Asikuma SHS was established in 1964 as a joint venture between the trad, national council headed by the then Omanhene, Nana Amoakwa Buadu VI and the Very Rev. Felix Mensah Akyea, a Supt. Minister of Breman Asikuma Circuit of the Methodist Church representing the Methodist Church, Ghana.
The school is located at Breman Asikuma in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District in the Central Region of Ghana and lies on the Asikuma-Oda road.
The motto of the school is “Dzin Pa Ye Sen Ahonya” meaning “A good world-classes second-cycleches.”

To grow and develop into a world class second cycle institution that produces students with excellent leadership skills and on-the-job creative skills to meet the changing manpower needs of the nation.
