CoEWJ To Organize National Dialogue On Initial Teacher Education In Colleges Of Education

Colleges Of Education Weekly Journal is set to organize the first National Dialogue On Initial Teacher Education currently being by colleges of education across the country.

Initial Bachelor Of Education programs currently run by Colleges of education is yet to witness any major reforms after four years of implementation.

The National Dialogue will engage officials from the Ministry of Education and its agencies; the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) and the National
Teaching Council (NTC), Key stakeholders across Colleges of Education in Ghana
teacher education spectrum, mentoring Universities, Transforming Teaching, Education and Learning (T-TEL), Staff and Students of Colleges Of Education, Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), media. Experts from academia, educationalists, and agencies will present position papers, discourses, and research work on the theme and sub-themes. and Mentorship.

The theme for National Dialogue is; Four Years Into Transformation Of Colleges Of Education Into Degree Awarding Institutions; Realities And The Way Forward .
