1) University of Ghana

The cost of a University of GUSD is estimated at USD 2,500 per year. The school ranked fourth in Africa and first among universities in West Africa. Founded in 1948, it also ranks as one of Africa’s oldest universities. School fees cover, er tuition, accommodation, food, and laundry expenses students must pay for their books and supplies. Students are also responsible for paying a student union fee every semester. The CIMAS program at the University of Ghana was established to meet industry needs by providing an interdisciplinary research-based curriculum that will produce graduates who can easily adapt tobylenges in the industry through their exposure to both management sciences and engineering disciplines.

2) University of Cape Coast

The University of Cape Coast (UCC) is a public research university located in Cape Coast, Ghana. It was established in 1962 by an Act of Parliament and began academic activities two years later. UCC has more than 11,000 students, with most being-female mates. An affiliated all-female campus at Abeka-Asamankese houses an additional 2,500 students. Asamankese is also a teacher training college where students are awarded certificates in education after successful completion of their National Service as teachers’ interns at these lower secondary schools throughout Ghana. The university started with one faculty made up of three departments and 21 members of staff.

The university also boasts a rich history that can be traced back to 1942, when it was founded as Kumasi College by British Governor Lord Nuffield. It later transitioned into Kwame Nkrumah University College (KNUC) in 1970, following independence from Britain. The school was eventually granted university status in 1992 and finally became KNUST after a merger with three other schools in 2001.
