First Term

18 January 2022 to 7 April 2022

Second Term

10 May 2022 to 11 August 2022

Third Term

13 September 2022 to 15 December 2022

Additionally, contact hours for basic schools are as follows
• 7:00 am to 2:00 pm • 7:30 am to 2:30 pm
• 8:00 am to 3:00 pm

These suggested contact hours are dependent on the particular circumstances of the community. By this letter, Regional Directors of Education are to communicate to all Metropolitan, Municipal and District Directors of Education to ensure that Heads of Basic Schools take note and implement accordingly.
