The management of the Ghana Education Service has officially responded to the new academic calendar circulating on social media that basic schools across the country should vacate on 6th April 2023 instead of the initial 24th March 2023 vacation date announced.

GES in a short blog post on their social media platform says that the 2023 Academic Calendar hasn’t been changed and the general public should ignore any information that is contrary to this.
According to GES, the ONLY clarification is the BECE date which has finally been settled on the 7th to 11th of August 2023.
