The Leadership of the Teacher Trainees Association Of Ghana has finally resolved the issues regarding the payment of first-semester examination fees for final-year students in Colleges Of Education.

TTAG in a press release dated 12th October 2022 and signed by the President, Mr. Jonathan Dzunu said, the leadership of the association after a broader and extensive engagement with the leadership of PRINCOF and the Institute of Education-UCC, would like to, through this missive inform all final-year trainees of the development made. It has been resolved that:

  1. Final-year trainees are to pay comparatively, a moderate amount of GhC150.00 instead of GhC370.00 for the first semester of the 2021/22 academic year.
  2. In the case of those who have made payment for the second-semester fee, a top-up payment of GhC150.00 could be made to encompass the fees for both semesters after Friday,
    14th September 2022 when the portal is fully updated.
  3. Measures will be put in place to reimburse trainees who have already made payments of the initial
    fee on the amount due them.
  4. A detailed communication shall be given by loE, UCC on this as soon as possible. Forthwith, we would want to entreat all defaulters of the semester and examination fees to endeavor to settle them with immediate effect.

We, the leadership of TTAG also appreciate all our constituents for their continuous forbearance and immeasurable support at all times. We wish all final year teacher trainees the best of luck in their pending final examination ” TTAG stated further
