The demand for secondary education has increased as a result of high completion rates at the Junior high School level. In response to this, several new public schools have been provided, whilst facilities in existing schools have been upgraded.
Trends in school placement from the Computer Schools Selection and Placement System (CSSPS)
indicate some disparity in the selection of schools. Students overwhelmingly choose the popular but few traditionally high-performing schools thereby leading to oversubscription of these schools. Many schools that have significantly improved in recent years remain unknown and undersubscribed. We believe that this anomaly is partly due to the lack of information available to students and parents.

DESCRIPTION
Nkoranza Senior High/Technical School was established in 1962 as a Teacher Training College.
The Government of Ghana in 1973 converted it to a secondary/Technical School. The traditional authority of Nkoranza allocated a 4-mile square of land for the school which makes it the school with the largest track of land in the Brong Ahafo Region, and can easily develop into a tertiary institution.

We aspire to make our school one of the best educational institutions in Ghana with students of high discipline and excellent academic performance to serve our country Ghana.
MISSION
We are duty-bound to train students into disciplinematurered, and respected people who will be proud of their traditions and work hand-in-hand with our teachers and workers and all stakeholders in the educational industry to make our school one of the best in this country.
