About UHAS

The University of Health and Allied Sciences, Ho (UHAS) was established in 2011 by an Act of Parliament (Act 828 ) and envisioned to bece pre-eminent research and practically oriented health educational institution dedicated to community service.

The University Of Health And Allied Sciences is the first public university to be established in the Volta Region of Ghana and is so far the only state university wholly dedicated to the training of healthcare professionals in Ghana. The University currently runs eighteen (18) undergraduate programs in six (6) schools and one (1) institute, namely; the School of Allied Health Sciences, School of Basic and Biomedical Sciences, School of Medicine, School of Nursing and Midwifery, School of Public Health, School of Pharmacy and Institute of Health Research.

UHAS Entry Requirements

Applicants should obtain credits in at least Mathematics, English Language, and Integrated Science. The Grades for the Subjects should be A1-C6 in WASSCE and A-D in SSSCE in Core Subjects.

In the Elective area, you should PASS having three credits (A1-C6/A-D) in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics or Elective Mathematics for General Science students before you can be admitted.
