The management of the Mobile Money Agents Association of Ghana wishes to inform the general public that they will increase their service charges from Monday, June 28.
According to the Mobile Money Agents Association of Ghana, this is necessary to mitigate the increment in taxes on mobile money services.
The Association in a press statement issued on June 25, 2021, and intercepted by Skynewgh.com has indicated that the Government of Ghana has increased taxes on their operations to which have been transferred unto the customers.

“Initially, agents pay 5% on Cash-in service wallet but it was secretly increased to 10% without our knowledge.
All Momo agents are hereby directed to increase charges from Monday 28th June 2021.
